Sooner or Later

Yea I know it takes me forever to update my blog, guess my life just isn't really that interesting.Ok gonna make this one brief because I have a burger on the Foreman and I'm very hungry. Liz (my beautiful fiancee) has finally decided on a wedding date and venue. Sandy Burr Country Club in Wayland,MA and the final set date is October 4, 2008. So no plans on that day all you friends and family.

And lastly (don't think thats a real word) I filmed an engagement party/ceremony at the Hilton a few nights ago which just happened to yet again be Hindu. Partied like crazy as usual and I now am almost entirely fluent in the Hindu wedding traditions. Think I need to get a traditional Indian suit to wear to the next one. So sexy I will look and you all know it.

Hindu Wedding (part II)

Day two. Two days before tomorrow.......or something. Well the actually ceremony took place at the Hyat on the Charles. Horses a shit load of dancing and sweat dripping from every part of my body. Cant ask for a better time. Going to keep this one brief and just say check out the pics at the bottom of the blog and hopefully JubJub will get off his lazy ass and get a this highlight video edited fairly quickly so I can post it. Good luck with that though .

Mehndi (part 1)

Waban,MA. Ever heard of it?Yea me neither but I guess Newton likes to give itself many names and confuse the hell out of everyone. Anyways, thats where I did the first day of a Hindu wedding. 2 hours worth of henna for the bride to be followed by 6 hours of sitting still waiting for it to dry and having everyone there cater to her every whim. It is her day after all. Got some pretty good shots of this little pre-wedding ceremony but the better ones will come tomorrow when the groom gets taken to the bride on a horse in down by the Charles River. Todays band (MugDown) kicked ass and may want the Feds Studio to make a music video for them sometime. Heres hoping. although I suck at taking non-moving pictures, kinda felt like I had to in the name of James since he couldn't be with me. Check them out at the bottom of my blog. Part 2 will be probably Monday night when I get home from work. Ill most likely take some stills of the real ceremony as well.

The Joys of Unemployment

So its now the fourth day of my lovely unpaid vacation and I am going insane with boredom. Yesterday I just grabbed a pen and notepad and went for a walk in a cemetery near my house. Sat down by a nasty scum infested pond and leaned against a tombstone from 1857. Wrote a few stories that I may or may not post at some point, most likely not. But today I went back with the digi cam and wanted to get a few shots of a crypt that I walked by during my adventure the day before.
I threw a couple of the pics up on the blog but didn't get to many good ones of the crypt because for some reason I could take pics of ANY part of the cemetery but when I went over to this particular crypt, all these weird flowing colors were in the viewfinder and the LCD screen. Kind of gave up after a few minutes of trying to fix it and then moved on. Worked fine after I left and when trying to go back.....well I'm sure you can figure out what happened.

F@#k the Cooperate System

Well I was officially fired from T.J.Maxx today. Oh yea I'm pissed but I just so happened to give my notice 15 minutes prior. Apparently following a shoplifter into the bathroom at Wendy's, waiting for him to take out concealed merchandise and the stopping and fighting with him after he tries to run, is frowned upon in that company. All is well though because I get a nice pay free vacation and will be starting a new job at Sears with the JubJub's woman sometime next week. Also gave me something to put up here in the blog. I know he will never read this but F@#K YOU BOB HINES DISTRICT LOSS PREVENTION MANAGER OF TJ MAXX!!!!!! Now i feel better

First Attempt

Well here goes my first attempt at blogging. Needed to start this in order to show certain aspects of my work as a wedding videographA. Recently, two very good friends of mine asked if I would be interested in helping out with the photography buisness they started. Nothing better than making movies,so of course I said yes. Friends, a good time and making some cash. Doesn't get any better than that.
